If you are getting on in years, you may well have discovered that you often experience joint pain in the mornings after you get out of bed. Unfortunately, we can not stay young forever. In fact, obesity is nowdays considered to be the largest cause of osteoarthritis.

If you are already experiencing joint pain in the mornings after you get out of bed, then you need to go and have it checked out. If you find out you have osteoarthritis, then I would suggest that you adopt a few lifestyle changes.

First and foremost, you need to consider starting a daily exercise program. You might also need to make a few changes to your diet. For instance, you should consider including more foods that are rich in omega-3 essential fatty acids. In fact, most doctors will recommend lifestyle changes as a first line of defense, and will only want to offer prescription drugs if all other options have failed.
